How do the Offsetters relationships with Westjet and Air France work?

The complimentary "climate friendly" flying option with participating airlines is only available to customers who connect to the airline's online reservation system first by going to Offsetters home page and clicking on the airline logo on the lower left hand of the screen. This will automatically connect the customer to the flight reservation page where a portion of their ticket price will be used for purchasing complimentary offsets on their behalf.

From the customer's perspective, a "climate friendly" booking is identical to a regular on in terms of cost, availability and high quality service. The only difference is that when the customer books their flight, the contribution from participating airlines to Offsetters makes their flight "climate friendly".

Will I receive confirmation from Offsetters for my ticket purchase?

No. There are two reasons for this:

1. Participating airlines protect the privacy of their customers and avoids any breaches of confidentiality from passing your travel identity and itinerary back to us; and

2. The Offset payments are made by participating airlines and it is their donation which is acknowledged by Offsetters.
